It's been a while since I wrote on this page. Spider Crab has gotten to its peak of development that trying to upgrade it more would cost a lot of compromises. I plan to just wait until Chrome evolves more and gives users some sort of content policy to filter content.

Just last week, about thursday, I was doing an update for my laptop when the network crashed. The update itself was cut midway and there was no way the wireless would revive itself to save what little fate my laptop had.

Murphy was right. If things could go wrong, they will go wrong [at the worst moment and combination ever]. It took me some time to at least get some of my working/ assignment documents out of this baby so I could still work on them come the weekends.

One of my friends suggested I do a recovery of it -- if time allows. She said that the recovery itself takes 3 - 6 hours or more. Hmmm. . . I should do that before sleeping, it'll do its work while I take a break. Worse comes to worse, you wake up in a bad morning with a bad computer. What could go wrong?

Then Saturday came. I have the whole day [not really, still riddled with homework up until now] to fix the laptop. It took me a while to get all the other data here out and moved to a bigger drive but it was worth the shot. That noon, I got my Win7 upgrade disk and it was a life saver.

To hell with fixing the old OS, since I already have my important documents out, all I need to do is wipe the disk clean and get Win7 in there. Clean install - hah! It's the best that ever happened. I finally had enough reason to do it. lol

So, other than the very twisty weekends of wipe and restore, right now I am still left with two homeworks. One being due tomorrow and one being due friday. The one due tomorrow is about multi-length arithmetic, which, of course, arithmetic. . . so ages ago. I need to relearn it. xP Ah~ life.

The one due on Friday is due on Friday. It will come when it will come.
